One of our customers was in a rehabilitation facility in recovery when the Coronavirus outbreak took place. She received notification from the rehabilitation facility that her husband was able to be discharged, but it had to be no later than Sunday that week. In a situation where the Coronavirus is spreading rapidly, his wife wanted to get her husband home safely and out of any densely populated areas as fast as possible.
However, what is typically encouraging news, receiving a family member home from a rehabilitation facility, turned into an emergency situation.
She realized her husband is now in a wheelchair and she had no way to get him from outside their home to inside their home: “I had no ramp or anything to facilitate having him home… I was in an emergency situation!”
“Luckily, I noticed that one of my neighbors had a ramp installed and I went over to ask where they had purchased it, and they had said Patriot Mobility did and they did a great job installing it.” she stated. In a hurry, she called Patriot Mobility. “I was in an emergency situation I told them, and Patriot Mobility said they can help me!.” Patriot Mobility installed the ramp right away: “The techs did a great job, they showed up with gloves and masks and installed the ramp fairly quickly! The ramp is beautiful!”.
